genscout field inspection app

The GenSCOUT Field Inspection App revolutionizes how production managers and field inspectors access and capture crop inspection test results whilst out in the field. The Android application removes the need to re-enter, or import, field inspection data captured on hardcopy documents or on other systems into Generation by automatically uploading the captured data directly into Generation. This innovative application was most recently recognised in Seed World‘s Top 5 Most Innovative Products of 2022!

Key Features of GenSCOUT

Field Inspection App

At Primetics Seed Solutions, we strive to provide our customers with products that solve the challenges they face. GenSCOUT was no exception. Unlike other field inspection apps that provide a simple checklist, GenSCOUT includes numerous features that digitize and accelerate the entire field inspection process.

Offline Mode

Users can collect data without an internet connection with information saved to the device's local storage. When reconnected, it automatically syncs your data back to Generation.

Crop Specific Inspection

Users can view a list of inspection tests specific to the crop being inspected within the app. As a result, each crop type inspected can have its own set of inspections assigned to it.

Free Form Comments

Large comment boxes are available within the GenSCOUT app for users to enter any notes and recommendations about the specific test result or the field's overall condition.

Field Walk Route Capture

Production managers and field inspectors can use the route capture feature within the app to record the route taken around the field during the inspection. These routes can then be referred back to easily and quickly.

Image Capture

Capture and upload images for the inspection directly into the application. Images are synced back to the Generation/DocStore database and are automatically tagged with the farm, grower, and contract details.

Our seed industry applications work to solve the challenges you face in the day to day of seed production. They have a demonstrated history of improving processes within seed businesses across North America.
